Doug - can you still do this?
This was when Jay-R and I first met Doug, and came to buy Nana (tilde here?).
Jay-R's influence on us!
Central Park days without a care in the world.
Did you ever finish your officer training before you left for SF? I don't remember, but look how serious you were about it anyway. As I pore through countless photos- I realize how much we've done together and how much richer my life has been because of you. Just as it was difficult to pick which photos to post from sheer number, I don't know where to start to say thank you. Noel and I were on the phone this morning and decided that 40 is sooo last year! What's in is 40-what? I thank the stars and the gods for having you.
We really did spend a lot of time in New York, didn't we! Nina, do you remember that snow storm when you and Doug got stuck? (Risking my already tarnished reputation...)Which boyfriend was I with? Was that my communist period-Redhead red-politics Jon? Oh my god, we were so cool because we were not afraid to go to the lower east side back then.... you should see it now... totally full of screeching Prada-wearing girls from New Jersey... now we should really be afraid to go there! Who knew!
ReplyDeleteMara, that picture in my apartment! Don't you miss those boots! I remember, they had to cut them off your leg when you were side-swiped by a tow-truck!
Mia, same picture, look in the background - picture of us on Wall Street, remember. see, even back then, lab-na-lab na kita! next pa to my bed... ok, fine, my apartment was as big as my bed, but still!
God, Nina, we've been a close circle of friends for a long time! Funny,I don't feel any older when I'm with you guys. Do you?
I remember that whole summer I spent with my brother in Mountainview? We drove in every night to hang out with you guys. California Street, right? I liked that place. Wasn't that really far to drive everyday? What did we do every night! I guess eat - nothing's changed then.... :-)
